2023 is expected to be one of the most important years for gaming in a long period of time. The beginning of this year filled with a variety of games, including The Legend of Zelda and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor It appears that nearly every AAA studio has plans to launch a major game in the autumn. One of them is Ubisoft. Ubisoft is currently working on Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the most anticipated game of 2023.
The Assassin’s Creed game returns to its roots
The upcoming installment of the legendary series promises to take AC right back to it’s roots but this time after many years of being in the genre of action RPG. The players who anticipate Assassin’s Creed Mirage to return to the classic Assassin’s Creed understanding are in for a pleasant delight when Ubisoft announces the game is going to launch one week earlier than originally planned.
It also coincided to AC Mirage’s declaration it had earned gold status and was now set to go live. This could indicate of Ubisoft is confident about the quality of the final product. However, there’s another benefit of this reasoning. AC Mirage’s release being a week earlier than expected places the game in better position for success when we look at other games that are similar to it.
October 2023 is full of major breakthroughs
Between September 2023 until November 2023 is going to be filled with big breakthroughs. But, it could be claimed that the month with most activity is October. In the time before the first week of October is done Detective Pikachu Returns will be available on Switch the 6th of October then Forza Motorsport, which will launch on the 10th of October on Xbox Series with X/S as well as PC. AC Mirage’s initial October 12 release date indicates that it’s directly competing against those games.
On the 20th of October Two games are set to release that could provide serious competition to the games that are released this month. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Super Mario Bros. Wonder will be released on PS5 and Switch respectively. Both games are expected to draw huge interest. Although other games offer distinct games, Spider-Man 2 and Super Mario Bros. Due to the level of interest Wonder will receive, every game coming out will need to be able to compete.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage would already have a lot of competition when it comes to the game’s release date of fall 2023. However, Ubisoft’s decision to move the release date back one week is sure to make the game make a splash. Although AC is a major name in the gaming industry but it’s possible that it isn’t given the same importance as it used to due to the recent issues with identity.
If everything goes as the fans wish, Mirage may have a possibility in October and during the remainder of the competitive holiday season. If you’re looking to find more experience similar to that offered by Mirage promises the extra week in the market could make a huge difference.
